Weddings

Its important to us to create a video for you that you want...and that you will actually watch more than once. To do that, we will consult with you and be flexible with what your preferences are.

This page is intended to provide a guideline for our services for you. Upon consultation we can layout the specifics for your wedding package.

The basics:

• We essentially work with a range of hours (depending on the level of coverage you want). The hours are up to you to decide how/when you want us to be there to record. We're completely flexible with how you want coverage.
  
• Our style is to make a series of creative vignettes that capture the different portions of the wedding experience (see a full list of vignettes below). Each segment lasts anywhere from 2 minutes to 15 minutes. This format helps organize the event into chapters that can be individually viewed over and over again. For DVDs, each vignette will be a chapter selection for direct viewing.
  
• We typically use two videographers for the ceremony and one camera on a tripod in an unobtrusive location. Then use one videographer for the reception.
  
• We use wireless microphones to capture superior sound quality for the ceremony.
  
• We can produce DVD or VHS copies of the final product.
  
• We use 3-chip digital equipment for superior video quality
  

Standard Coverage.......................$1000
The Standard package includes approximately 4 hours of coverage, at your discretion. Typically it's an hour before, an hour for the ceremony, and the remaining two hours for the reception. This package typically contains four to six vignettes (your choice).

Advanced Coverage......................$1200
The Advanced package includes approximately 6 hours of coverage, at your discretion. Typically it's an hour before, an hour for the ceremony, two hours for the reception, and two hours of additional coverage (more reception, an interview, earlier preparation, rehearsal dinner, etc.). This package typically contains six to eight vignettes (your choice).

Deluxe Coverage..........................$1600
The Deluxe package includes approximately 8 hours of coverage, at your discretion. Basically this is a full day coverage of your wedding and may include the day(s) prior. This package typically contains eight to ten vignettes (your choice).

Each package includes two DVD copies. Additional copies may be ordered.

We can ship out the final product to family or friends members throughout the world (shipping extra).

Vignettes Menu
Below is a list of possible segments to include in your video. The length of each depends, of course, on the amount of video we have to choose from.

Preparation..................................................2-6 minutes
We follow both of you through your ceremony preparations from arrival to the moment of the ceremony. A great mood setter to capture those thoughts, expressions, and glimpse of nervous energy that occur right before the aisle. See Sample

Ceremony.................................................time varies
Included in all packages, we capture all the ceremony beginning with the entrance of the family and concluding with the exit of the guests. We have several angles to capture different views of the ceremony from experienced videographers. Length, of course, depends on the length of your ceremony.

Post Ceremony/Pictures...............................2-6 minutes
Once the ceremony concludes, we can continue to film the post ceremony pictures. While staying out of the photographers way, we capture the full process that you and your family take part in. We focus on the interaction of family members and their preparations for the shots rather than simply re-produce the same images the photographer is capturing. This segment tends to be entertaining/funny watching the behind the scenes things that the photographer won't see. See Sample

Photo Montage.........................................5-8 minutes
In the form of a slide show, we can prepare a photo gallery of shots from a variety of time periods. The most popular form of this segment is to have pictures of the bride and groom and families as they are growing up, set to a song of choice. This slide show can be done in advance and can be projected at the reception and/or rehearsal dinner. (See Photo Montages section for more details, pricing).

Reception Traditions....................................2-10 minutes
Includes the traditional reception activities: cake cutting, garter/bouquet toss, first dances.

Reception Speeches....................................2-10 minutes
This segment has the full speeches/toasts from the best man and the maid/matron of honor. It may also include pictures from childhood, early friendship, or other memorable images corresponding with the speech.

Reception Celebration..................................4-10 minutes
This segment captures all of the celebration, dancing, toasting, etc. that occurs during a party. We'll ensure that the highlights of the party are captured on film.

Couple Interviews........................................6-15 minutes
To add to the story telling, we can do interviews with the bride and groom (individual and/or together) to discuss and capture pre-wedding thoughts ranging from where you met to where do you think you'll be in 50 years. Can be a very touching tribute as you document your love for another.

Family Interviews........................................4-10 minutes
Some couples like to have their family and friends interviewed during the day. Great source for funny material. Upon request, during the reception we will interview different people and get them to comment or tell a story about the bride and groom. If this segment is not requested, we will refrain from interviews of guests.

Highlights....................................................8-15 minutes
This is the most popular segment by far. It encompasses the entire video and condenses it into one feature. It includes the highlights from start to finish. A great segment for ALL audiences. See Sample

Long Version.............................................time varies
While not by nature a short segment, we are willing to include the full, uncut version of the wedding. This segment would be simply all of the footage without any editing.

Outakes.......................................................2-4 minutes
Much like a blooper reel, this segment will put together some of the days funniest moments. Every wedding has got some priceless moments, here's where the funny ones go. Includes the silly images and a 'oh no, he didn't' section.

Credits.......................................................2-4 minutes
Similiar to the Highlights reel, only we can add in credits/titles of all of the guests and/or wedding party. Any text can be included as well: speeches, poems, scriptures, etc.

Honeymoon Footage
If you take video footage during your vacation and you want us to do any editing of honeymoon footage, please let me know and we can estimate a package a highlight video(es) from that footage as well. Could range from $100-500, depending on amount of footage and size of final product. This can be included on the same DVD/VHS, or a separate one.
